Evinrude Outboard Motors
In 1936, the Johnson brothers, two enterprising mechanics, decided to combine their business with the newly created Evinrude corporation. After that, she took the helm of a relatively successful company that she dubbed "OMS" for an extended time. Electric start, exhaust through the propeller hub, a mechanism for managing revolutions, and their automated decrease in case of engine overheating were all initially applied in the corporation's design divisions. As a result, customers flocked to buy low-priced, low-maintenance motors.
However, financial difficulties hit the firm around the year 2000. The company declared bankruptcy, and the Evinrude brand was auctioned off along with the rest of the company's intellectual property. Naturally, there was a fierce bidding war for him, and the company "BOMBARDIER" (known to all fans of outdoor recreation thanks to its popular brands of snowmobiles and aqua bikes) ultimately won.
This is how Evinrude became a part of BOMBARDIER RECREATIONAL PRODUCTS' vast lineup of recreational vehicles. Thankfully, the new owners could have done better in realizing that the consumer favorite needed to be pushed and grown as soon as possible, and they spent freely to do so. Several new items are added to the company's model line yearly, so the wait was brief. Intelligent design solutions and the right management policy have allowed the Evinrude brand to create and sell a wide range of motor types that are favorites among consumers who value low prices without sacrificing quality.
